Alles klar, du bekommst die Top 100 internationalen Pop-Alben der 80er, also 10 pro Jahr von 1980 bis 1989. Diese Alben sind internationale Erfolge, aber speziell ausgewählt nach ihrem großen Erfolg und Einfluss in Deutschland. Kein deutschsprachiger Act. Der Fokus liegt auf Pop, Synthpop, New Wave, Pop-Rock und Dance-Pop.

Natürlich ist das alles ein wenig subjektiv, aber diese Alben waren erfolgreich, hatten Einfluss und sollten in keiner ernsthaften 80s-Bibliothek fehlen.
